EDISON, NJ – The MAAC has announced the Niagara women’s basketball 20-game conference slate for the 2021-22 season.
The Purple Eagles will tip-off conference play at home, hosting Saint Peter’s on Dec. 17 and Manhattan, Dec. 19.
Niagara will travel to Lawrenceville, NJ, to take on the Broncs on Dec. 30, the first leg of a three-game road swing that includes games with Siena on New Year’s Day and the renewal of the Battle of the Bridge on Jan. 8 at Canisius.
The Purple and White will return to the Gallagher Center on Jan. 13 and Jan. 15 to play host to Fairfield and Rider.
Niagara takes on Monmouth in West Long Branch, NJ, on Jan. 20 before traveling to Poughkeepsie, NY, two days later to take on the Red Foxes.
The Purple Eagles will take on Siena and Quinnipiac on Jan. 27 and 29 to close out the month. February begins with road games at Fairfield and Manhattan on the third and fifth, respectively.
Niagara returns home on Feb. 10 and Feb. 12 to complete its season series with Marist and Monmouth before hitting the road one last time in league play.
The final road trip for the Purple Eagles consists of three games, the first against Iona on Feb. 17, followed by Quinnipiac on Feb. 19, and Saint Peter’s on Feb. 24.
Niagara will conclude the Battle of the Bridge series with the Griffs on Feb. 26 when Canisius visits the Gallagher Center.
Iona will visit Niagara on Mar. 3 apart of Purple Eagle basketball doubleheader to close out the regular season.
The MAAC Tournament is scheduled for March 8-12 at Jim Whalen Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ.
