Discover where ‘fairies live’ in Wales | Travel News | Travel

Fairy Glen is a hidden gorge a 50-minute walk from the town Betws-y-Coed, Conwy, where visitors follow a circular shaped route that will lead to a stunning hidden location. The aptly named gorge is believed by some to be home to mythical sprits, inspired from alleged sightings, fairy rings and storybook Fly Agaric mushrooms.

If you feel like adding a bit of adventure to this fantasy nook, you can take the slippery and uneven rocky formation – make sure to mind where you step for your journey to not turn into a tragedy.

Here the River Conwy flows downstream in a tumble of waterfalls to create an eerie but magical spot.

Bring along your swimwear and something to eat where you can enjoy the rock pools to cool off and a bench to have a picnic in this North Wales hidden gem.
